The battery box needed an external charging connector and a way to lock it down. This makes it more convenient for recharging and more secure when parking at the store. I can leave the box locked to the bike and charge it up without having to take it all apart.
This video shows me installing the external charging connector and fabricating the latch for locking it down.
I mention it in the video but want to reiterate it here; it is very important to get the wires hooked up to the correct terminals. Switching the positive and negative wires could cause damage to the batteries and the charger and possibly fire or worse. Be careful when working around electricity in any form. It can be dangerous.

Hey Dan,
Great video
Quick question for you. Once you drop the box into the four slots, are you securing each of them below – or is something else securing it in place?
Thanks Brett. I didn’t point it out in the video but the bars that go into the slots have holes at the bottom that I run some rod through. I also run a strap around the whole box and the deck for good measure.
